Illegal Migrants Invade Miami Area Beaches By Sailboat

Hollywood, Florida — While Greater Miami residents are accustomed to seeing boats, small and large, sail up and down the Florida shoreline, they were unprepared for the sight that unfolded yesterday at Hollywood Beach.

Dozens of illegal migrants were spotted disembarking from sailboats at Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood Beach, Florida, over this weekend, to the shock and dismay of beachgoers. The migrants quickly fled the scene on foot before police could arrive.

Witnesses called Police Deputies from the Broward Sheriff’s office, who immediately began canvassing the area for the illegal migrants. No word has been given on whether any were apprehended.

Hollywood Police, Border Patrol and the Broward Sheriff’s Office all participated in the search for the suspected illegal migrants.

Republican congressional candidate Bryan E. Leib—who is running for the House seat representing this district—called out the Federal government’s inaction, “Why isn’t the Coast Guard stopping these boats before they enter U.S. waters? Floridians do not want illegal migrants in our communities.”

A similar incident took place on the West Coast recently when dozens of illegal migrants evaded border security and entered the United States through a popular beach just north of San Diego, California.

Earlier this evening, at a campaign rally, Donald J. Trump vowed to deliver the “largest mass deportation effort” in American history, if he gets back into office next year, going after millions of illegal migrants across the country, prioritizing criminals and national security threats first.
