The presidential primary race for both the GOP and Democratic nomination is all but set for a rematch between Donald Trump and Joe Biden in November.

This morning, former South Carolina Governor and Ambassador to the UN, Nikkie Haley suspended her campaign for President, after a disastrous day at the polls on Super Tuesday.

“The time has now come to suspend my campaign. I said I wanted Americans to have their voices heard. I have done that. I have no regrets,” Haley said.

On Tuesday, former President Donald Trump dominated the early GOP contests and won 14 out of the 15 Super Tuesday states but one race—Vermont—the only close race Haley won. On the Democratic side, Joe Biden crushed the night, winning every state except the territory of American Samoa (which does not vote in the general election).

As of Wednesday, Trump has 1025 delegates to Haley’s 89. President Joe Biden, who dominated the Democratic primary, has 1,527 delegates, losing just 16.

Nikki Haley refused to endorse Trump, saying, “I have always been a conservative Republican and always supported the Republican nominee. It is now up to Donald Trump to earn the votes of those in our party and beyond it who did not support him. And I hope he does that. At its best, politics is about bringing people into your cause, not turning them away. And our conservative cause badly needs more people. This is now his time for choosing.”

On the Democrat side, Rep. Dean Philips has dropped out of the race and endorsed Biden.

Other key races of the night were held in California, Texas and North Carolina. Rep. Adam Schiff will face former baseball player Steve Garvey in California’s Senate race. Rep. Colin Allred will face incumbent Ted Cruz in the Texas Senate race. Republican Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson and Democratic Attorney General Josh Stein will compete in the North Carolina governor’s race.
