After quickly responding to hotline call from a Far Rockaway resident that his Hyundai car was stolen, Rockaway-Nassau Shomrim successfully tracked the vehicle to Avenue S near Coney Island Avenue in Brooklyn, where the suspects fled on foot. They were both apprehended by the NYPD with the assistance of Flatbush and Boro Park Shomrim.
