Borough Park, Brooklyn – This past Saturday evening, the NYPD 66th Precinct successfully resolved a kidnapping and abduction case after a dramatic turn of events. The victim, who had been held captive, managed to get out after paying his captives $5,000, then flagging down Shmira Shabbos patrol units on the street in Borough Park.

As the Shmira patrol approached, the kidnapping suspects barricaded themselves in a basement, and according to the victim, it was clear that his captives were armed and dangerous. Shmira promptly notified the local precinct, closed off the street, and established a secure perimeter with multiple members surrounding the building.

The NYPD 66th Precinct arrived, and the Lieutenant on the scene confirmed the situation, requesting the NYPD ESU (Emergency Service Unit) to assist with gaining access to the building.

The NYPD ESU successfully forced entry into the location, leading to the apprehension of all four individuals. The kidnapping suspects were identified by the victim and were taken into custody without further incident. The swift and coordinated response from Shmira and the NYPD ensured the safe resolution of the kidnapping case.

The NYPD detectives are further investigating this case.
