New Jersey Republican gubernatorial nominee, Jack Ciattarelli, is on a four-day solidarity visit to Israel.
Ciattarelli is accompanied by members of his team along with Rabbi Avi Richler of Chabad of Gloucester County in Mullica Hill, New Jersey.
The Republican nominee visited the Kosel, held discussions with members of the Israeli Knesset and went to the Embassy Of The United States Of America in Jerusalem and met with U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee.
As his trip to Israel continues ahead of the November election, part of Ciattarelli’s campaign trail he went to Tel Aviv and had an exclusive high-tech business meeting. There, the GOP nominee met with leading Israeli tech founders and large investors to make his case for why New Jersey should be the U.S. launchpad of choice for Israeli technology startups. Which would bring jobs to New Jerseyan’s.
In a statement Jack Ciattarelli said:
- “Our mission is clear: to meet with business leaders across diverse industries and lay the groundwork for a new era in the New Jersey–Israel relationship.
- Over the past eight years, the New Jersey–Israel relationship—and the investment it has brought to our state—has significantly regressed. I will present my vision for a business-friendly environment that can reverse this trend and once again attract meaningful investment to New Jersey.
- I will also meet with political and religious leaders to confront the alarming rise of antisemitism in New Jersey. With a deep understanding of the challenges Israel and the Jewish people face daily, and recognizing that anti-Zionism is a driving force behind global antisemitism, we will work to strengthen solidarity and action.”
Rabbi Yosef Orenstein of Valley Chabad in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, shared:
- “A special moment today at the Kotel, the Western Wall, meeting Jack Ciattarelli, the Republican nominee for NJ Governor.
- We discussed Valley Chabad’s CTeen and Friendship Circle activities and had the opportunity to thank him for his support of Israel and for standing with the Jewish community.
- His friendship with the NJ Jewish community and strong support for Israel mean so much. I hope all our leaders stand with us against antisemitism and demonstrate unwavering support for Israel.”
Walking through the streets of Jerusalem, including the popular Mahane Yehuda Market (The Shuk) Ciattarelli also encountered fellow New Jerseyan’s from Lakewood, Teaneck and Passaic visiting Israel.
