Queens, NY – New York City Democratic Councilman and Co-Chair of the Common Sense Caucus Robert Holden has crossed party lines and endorsed Republican Thomas P. Sullivan for New York State Assembly. “Tom Sullivan answered the call by serving our country in the Armed Forces, and now he’s answering the call again by running for the State Assembly. We need a leader with Common Sense who will push back against the insanity in Albany and bring back a state legislature that actually serves New Yorkers, not special interests. This is why I’m proud to cross party lines and endorse Tom Sullivan.” said Councilman Holden.
Bob Holden also serves as Chairman of the City Council Committee on Veterans and represents the neighborhoods of Maspeth, Middle Village, Glendale, Ridgewood, Elmhurst, and Rego Park. Councilman Holden was first elected to the New York City Council in 2017. Holden is a long-time advocate of Common Sense policies, such as supporting the NYPD and our Veterans, as well as strongly opposing radical policies such as Congestion Pricing. Bob Holden has been a lifelong Democrat, and his endorsement exemplifies the broad, cross-party support to elect Tom Sullivan in November.
If elected, Tom Sullivan said he looks forward to finding Common Sense solutions with legislators across the aisle, especially policies that support Law Enforcement, provide for the safety of our Citizens and are fiscally responsible. Rather than bend the knee to political agendas, he will prioritize the needs and well-being of his constituents, regardless of political affiliation.
“I look forward to championing Common Sense, Pro Public Safety policies in Albany and working with like-minded legislators in the City Council, like Bob Holden,” said Tom Sullivan.
“Tom Sullivan is a candidate who 100% supports Eretz Yisroel, Yeshiva’s and fully supports our community on issues we hold dear,” a local Far Rockaway Jewish resident told FrumNews.com.
Thomas (Tom) Sullivan is a Husband, Father, Retired Army Colonel, financial professional, small business owner, and the Republican-Conservative-Common Sense Candidate for New York State Assembly District 23, covering Ozone Park, Lindenwood, Howard Beach, Broad Channel, and the Rockaway Peninsula (Far Rockaway).
In the Jewish community, candidate Thomas Sullivan is endorsed by former Assemblyman Dov Hikind, frum councilwoman Inna Vernikov and Flatbush community activist Izzy Weiss, among others.

He sounds like the perfect candidate that values the Jewish community and understands our concerns, i wish he was running in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We need a candidate like him in South Williamsburg.
