Lakewood, NJ – Local Askunim, elected officials and community members joined Lakewood Township police, EMT, Fire and other municipal divisions for the annual Township’s Memorial Day parade in downtown Lakewood. Honoring the heroic actions of the men and women who have served in the U.S. military.
The parade proceeded down Clifton Avenue, Main Street, Route 9 South and North Lake Drive to the All War Memorial Amphitheater for the Memorial Day program.
A number of local Jewish organizations joined the parade, including Hatzolah, Chaveirim of Central NJ, Lakewood Shomrim and Bikur Cholim.
