B”H tragedy was averted in both cases. It is a parents responsibility to sit on the side of the pool and to watch their own children. The lifeguards do their job but children don’t tend to follow rules. They’ll jump in., hold their breath contests and just get too tired but not admit it. Parents wake up, stay off your phone, be alert even while socializing.
