Satmar Celebrates Kuf Aleph Kislev with Annual Events
In honor of Kuf Aleph Kislev, Satmar Chassidim celebrated the rescue of the previous Satmar Rebbe, Reb Yoel Teitelbaum ZT"L, who was transported out of Hungary by the so-called Kastner train, on this day.

tens of Thousands of Satmar Chassidim celebrated at two events took place. One in at the Brooklyn Armory in Crown Heights. The second event took place in a tent on Kent Ave. Williamsburg in on Kent Ave.
The events were joined by Admurim and Rabbonim Askunim and local leaders, among them NYC mayor Eric Adams, who attended both events.
