NYC: Satmar Celebrates Kuf Aleph Kislev with Annual Event
In honor of Kuf Aleph Kislev, Satmar Chassidim celebrated the rescue of the previous Satmar Rebbe, Reb Yoel Teitelbaum ZT"L, who was transported out of Hungary by the Kastner train, on this day.
In honor of Kuf Aleph Kislev, Satmar Chassidim celebrated the rescue of the previous Satmar Rebbe, Harav Yoel Teitelbaum ZT”L, who was transported out of Nazi occupied Hungary during the Holocaust by the Kastner train rescue operation, on this day exactly 80 years ago in 5704.
Tens of thousands of Satmar Chassidim celebrated at the Williamsburg event.
The events were joined by Admurim and Rabbonim Askunim and local leaders, among them NYC mayor Eric Adams, who attended.
