Jerusalem, Israel — The Gaza pier that Democrats insisted on building in 2024, to import “humanitarian aid” into Gaza and was installed by U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) had more issues than the American public had previously known.

A Pentagon report released this week by the Trump administration, revealed that the Biden administration’s failed “Gaza pier” project, allegedly to deliver “humanitarian aid” to Gazan Palestinians after they celebrated October 7th, via a $320 million floating pier—was a deeper failure than previously acknowledged.

Apart from wasting $320 million in United States taxpayers funds and failing in its mission to provide “aid to Gaza,” one American soldier was killed in an operational accident during the mission, and 62 US soldiers were injured.

The pier was in place in Gaza for three months, it was in Israel for one day after drifting away to the beach of Ashdod due to high winds, but was only operational for 20 days, during which one day’s worth of “humanitarian aid was offloaded.” [This was at a time when Israel was forced to send hundreds of truckloads a day of “humanitarian aid,” the Gazan’s were not suffering from a lack of food.]

The Defense Department Office of Inspector General (DoD OIG) stated that the US military was not prepared with the proper equipment for the mission. “Nor did they organize, train, and equip their forces to meet common joint standards,” the report said.

The disjointed nature of the effort contributed to 27 U.S. Navy watercraft and other paraphernalia suffering damage costing $31 million to repair, the report found, as “Army- and Navy-specific equipment, including watercraft, piers, and causeways, as well as command, control, and communications systems was not interoperable.”

A separate report from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) revealed that Biden administration officials ignored multiple warnings of the operation’s pitfalls, including insufficient preparation and training and a disregard for local environmental and weather conditions.

This “Pier – Dock” was forced on Israel by US, it was built horribly, and the “aid” goes to Hamas.

At least this helped out with the 2 hostages rescue Shabbos morning last year since the beach area right in front of this pier was used for the IDF helicopters

The US spends money on stupid projects like a teenager spends on a credit card. Too many injured and dead for this so cool “pier.”
