The National Weather Service and NYC Emergency Management has issued a Storm and Wind Alert. Watch for possible trees and branches coming down, and use caution when walking, or driving.
Strong offshore winds will result in higher-than-normal water levels near and along the coast during several high tide cycles from Shabbos morning to Sunday night, the worst of which is expected on Motzei Shabbos and Sunday. Additionally, as a storm moves through the region tomorrow, periods of moderate to briefly heavy rain Motzei Shabbos may exacerbate flooding along the shore. Significant inland flooding due to heavy rainfall is not expected, although minor rainfall flooding will be possible in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Wind Advisory issued by National Weather Service for NYC starting at 2AM Monday until 11PM.

A Coastal Flood Watch is in effect in parts of NYC from 6:00 p.m. Shabbos to 1:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon to account for flooding during two high tide cycles on Motzei Shabbos and again Sunday morning.
The NYCEM recommends those residing or operating businesses in coastal areas—remain alert. Numerous road closures are likely, and vehicles parked in vulnerable areas near the waterfront will likely become flooded.
