IDF Recovers Bodies of Three More Hostages in Gaza

The bodies of three more hostages from the northern Gaza Strip were rescued in Jabaliya during an overnight operation, the IDF confirmed.

The bodies of three more hostages, Orión Hernández, 30, Hanan Yablonka, 42, and Michel Nisenbaum, 59, HY”D, from the northern Gaza Strip were rescued in Jabaliya during an overnight operation, the IDF confirmed. 

The IDF said the three were kidnapped from the Mefalsim area and were killed by Hamas Terrorists during the massacre on Simchas Torah. Their bodies were brought to Gaza by Terrorists, Based on new “reliable intelligence” the IDF discovered amid the ongoing war.

Hernández was a Mexican-French national. Both he and Yablonka were at the Nova Music Festival near Re’im when Hamas terrorists attacked them. Nisenbaum, from Sderot, was also killed near Mefalsim. He had been driving to the Gaza Division’s base near Re’im to rescue his granddaughter. 

The bodies of the three hostages were recovered in a joint operation by the IDF and Shin Bet, following precise intelligence recently obtained. Hernández’s partner was Shani Louk

After identification at the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute and the Israel police, their families were notified.

Last week, the bodies of three hostages who were kidnapped from the Nova Music Festival were recovered in Gaza. (Among them was Shani Louk, HY”D, Hernández’s partner).

“It is with a heavy heart that I share that last night, Israeli special forces in Gaza rescued the bodies of our hostages, Hanan Yablonka, Michel Nisenbaum, and Orion Hernandez.” IDF Spokesperson, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said.
