Five Teens Arrested After Attempted Abduction of Frum Bochur in London

Five teenagers, three aged 17, one 15 and one 18-years-old have been arrested and taken into custody by London Metropolitan Police after an attempted kidnapping of a young Bochur.

Stamford Hill, London — Five teenagers, three aged 17, one 15 and one 18-years-old have been arrested and taken into custody by London Metropolitan Police after an attempted kidnapping of a young Bochur.

As reported on FrumNews.com, an attempted kidnapping of a young Bochur took place on Erev Shabbos Chol Hamoed Pesach, in the heart of the Stamford Hill frum community.

The bochur was walking on Moundfield Road in Stamford Hill, London, when four males exited a car, approached and threatened the frum teen and attempted to pull him into the boot (trunk) of their car.

This horrifying attempted abduction ended when the victim said he was calling the police, and other vehicles approached.

The five kidnappers were all released on bail. 

Stamford Hill Shomrim and London Metropolitan Police in Hackney are still investigating the incident and are appealing to the Stamford Hill Kehilla for information on the attempted Kidnapping. Shomrim is also conducting CCTV (Video Footage) inquiries and appealing for witnesses or anyone who can identify the suspects.
