Drones, Rockets Fired at Northern Israel, As Hezbollah Terrorists Escalate

On Friday night, sirens sounded again in northern Eretz Yisroel just as Shabbos started. After Hezbollah terrorists fired dozens of rockets and drones at the area from Lebanon. Three hostile UAVs were identified crossing from Lebanon into northern Israel and fell in the Western Galilee area.
One UAV drone fell in Shlomi, igniting a small fire. A home was hit by shrapnel, and there were no injuries. A projectile also fell in Moshav Betzet, near residential houses. The property sustained minor damage, but no injuries were reported.
Furthermore, approximately 25 launches were identified that crossed from Lebanon toward the western Galilee and Galilee panhandle areas.
Baruch Hashem, no injuries were reported, but a building in the western Galilee area was damaged. IDF Artillery struck the sources of fire.
Israel Fire Services were on the scene to extinguish numerous fires that were ignited as a result of the attack.
Israeli aircraft struck numerous Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, including a military site in the area of Zibqin, two operational infrastructures in the areas of Khiam and Houla, and a military structure in the area of Odaisseh.
Over the week, Hezbollah terrorists launched dozens of rockets at northern Eretz Yisroel, including Tzfas and other northern Yishuvim and cities.

The attack comes as Hezbollah terrorists recently escalated their attacks on northern Eretz Yisroel, sending thousands of rockets and drones at the Yishuvim in the north. This led to IDF forces returning fire and sending the Air Force to wipe out Hezbollah positions and terrorist infrastructure near the border.
The IDF recently approved operational plans for an offensive in Lebanon, and decisions were made on continuing to increase the readiness of troops in the field.
