Donald Trump Jr. High-Profile Republicans Endorse NYC Councilwoman Inna Vernikov For Re-Election

In an unusual move for a New York City council race, multiple high-profile Republicans including Donald Trump Jr. Have endorsed Brooklyn Councilwoman Inna Vernikov for Re-Election

Brooklyn, NY – In an unusual move for a New York City council race, multiple high-profile Republicans including: Donald Trump Jr. Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (who’s considering a run for NYS Governor,) Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis and Congressman Michael Lawler among many other state and city republican figures have all came out in support with an endorsement for the re-election of NYC Council Member Inna Vernikov.

This move highlights the great achievements of Council Member Vernikov, as well what’s at stake in this primary election with the need to re-elect the Councilwoman.

  • “The constituents of Council District 48 are incredibly lucky to have Inna Vernikov — someone who, like our president, is a fighter who never backs down in the fight against the radical left’s attempt to destroy New York City. And they tried hard. Inna has fought, fought and fought, and we want to make sure a political establishment hack and fake Republican doesn’t succeed in his dangerous attempt to take away one of the strongest fighters we have in New York City.”

President Trump’s eldest son, Donald Jr. said.

Republican council member Inna Vernikov represents Midwood, Sheepshead Bay, Brighton Beach, Manhattan Beach, Coney Island, Homecrest, Gerritsen Beach and surrounding neighborhoods in South Brooklyn.

Councilwoman Vernikov, a proud Jew representing the 48th council district, works across the isle both with city Democrats and Republicans alike to fight for her constituents and her district. She, along with her team have the #1 constituent casework completion in all 51 of the NYC council districts.

Councilwoman Vernikov’s Director Of Operations Izzy Weiss, along with her entire team, tirelessly work with amazing community based organizations like Hatzalah, Shomrim, Chessed Of Flatbush, Chaveirim and so many more.

She’s delivered and allocated millions of dollars to the district since taking office.

After being notified due to safety concerns by community members across the district this month, Council member Vernikov working with Brooklyn Community Board 14, the NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) and officials in Mayor Eric Adams administration, have successfully stopped multiple protected bike lanes, (which were advocated for by outsiders), from being placed on residential streets in the district.

Over the past years, Councilwoman Vernikov has successfully advocated for more police officers to be assigned to local NYPD precincts and halted new homeless shelters from opening in the district, while having the shelters moved to other neighborhoods that appreciate them instead.

But it is not just on a local level, on a city-wide level Councilwoman Vernikov has been the strongest voice in the city council fighting Antisemitism on schools and NYC college campuses.

With the Mayoral primary election taking place, and the urgent announcements over the past several weeks from all Jewish community leaders requesting each and every Democratic voter go out and vote. Many registered republicans feel that this primary is not so important.

For registered republicans residing in the 48th council district, this primary election is equally—if not more important. Councilwoman Vernikov is being challenged in the Republican primary, and in order for the community and neighborhood at large, to continue being properly represented by a strong elected official who does not take “No” as a answer, it is crucial that each and every registered republican in the 48th NYC council district votes for Councilwoman Vernikov for Re-Election.

As the Law and Order candidate, with a track record of supporting the brave men and woman in blue, multiple law enforcement unions have thrown their support behind Councilwoman Vernikov and have endorsed her as well, including the Police Benevolent Association of the City of New York (PBA), The NYC Correction Officers Benevolent Association (COBA), among other city unions.

Voting is June 24, with early voting which has already began.

FrumNews would like to wish Council member Vernikov much Hatzlacha and success on her re-election campaign.
