Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Training Program Instructor. In this critical role, you will design, deliver, and manage training programs to equip employees with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the home health care industry. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive RN with expertise in instructional design, compliance standards, and employee development.

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Development: Design and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and multimedia aids. Ensure materials comply with Department of Health (DOH) standards and reflect industry best practices.
• Instruction and Facilitation: Deliver engaging training sessions using various instructional techniques. Create an interactive learning environment and provide constructive feedback to participants.
• Needs Assessment: Conduct regular assessments to identify training needs and customize programs for different teams or departments.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure training programs align with federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain records to demonstrate compliance with DOH standards and other relevant benchmarks.
• Evaluation and Feedback: Develop assessment tools to measure training effectiveness and collect feedback to continuously improve programs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with HR, operations, and other stakeholders to align training programs with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• experience in a home care setting, preferably in training program management.
• Strong knowledge of compliance standards, including Joint Commission and DOH requirements.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with technology and e-learning platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
