We are seeking an experienced professional in strategic sourcing, contract management, and global supplier relationship management to join our direct supply chain team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing top strategic vendors through price negotiations, contract escalations, performance reviews, and quarterly strategy execution.

This role will work closely with the Director of Strategic Global Supply Chain and the Strategic Sourcing Lead, driving impact and reporting on key supplier performance metrics. Opportunities for professional growth are available and encouraged.

Responsibilities:

• Manage supplier performance, focusing on sustainability and social responsibility improvements.
• Serve as the first line of defense for sourcing activities, including performance issues, contracts, and escalation management.
• Facilitate root cause analyses and manage suppliers towards continuous improvement efforts.
• Monitor and manage supplier relationships to align with upcoming demand and growth.
• Conduct new product and ad hoc negotiations with existing suppliers.
• Oversee sample management, including 6-month master sample refreshes and new product sample management.
• Provide weekly reports on assigned supplier performance, commodity pricing/forecasting trends, and identify wins/risks.

Ideal Candidate Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, including strategic sourcing, purchase order management, logistics, contract management, and supplier management.
• Proficiency in data analytics and tools, such as PowerBI.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in the lumber or wood – furniture industry is preferred.
• Multilingual abilities are beneficial.
• Professional certifications/licenses in the field are a plus.
