A leading Home Care Company is seeking an RN Educator. The RN Educator will play a crucial role in educating and preparing future Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Advanced Care Directives (ACD) professionals. This position involves delivering comprehensive 40-hour training programs, evaluating student progress, and ensuring compliance with state and federal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Course Delivery:
  • Implement dynamic and engaging teaching methods for HHA and ACD training.
  • Facilitate hands-on practice and simulation exercises.
• Student Evaluation and Support:
  • Assess and provide feedback on student performance through tests and practical evaluations.
  • Offer additional resources and guidance to support learning.
• Compliance and Standards:
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure training programs meet all legal and professional requirements.
• Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain records of student attendance, performance, and evaluations.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of new students.
• Professional Development:
  • Continuously enhance personal knowledge and teaching practices through workshops and training sessions.

Qualifications:

• Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license.
• Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of acute care experience; 1 year in home care.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with curriculum development and instructional technology.
• Familiarity with advanced care directives and home health regulations.
