We are a growing startup specializing in billing services for ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy, home care, and non-medical healthcare providers. As we expand, we are looking for a mid- to senior-level Revenue Cycle Manager to lead and manage the billing and accounts receivable (AR) functions. This role is ideal for someone who wants to be hands-on initially but is excited about future growth, including building out a team and having the opportunity for equity sharing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of revenue cycle operations, with a focus on ABA and home care billing.
- Oversee billing and AR processes to ensure timely, accurate invoicing and collections.
- Work closely with clients to resolve billing issues, clarify policies, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement billing procedures and best practices.
- Monitor key revenue metrics, including collections, aging reports, and denials management.
- Collaborate with leadership on revenue strategies and client growth initiatives.
- Prepare for future team growth by identifying and mentoring junior staff.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations and industry standards.
- Actively contribute to the company’s success by improving workflows and processes.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, with a strong focus on healthcare billing (ABA and home care experience preferred).
- Proven expertise in billing and AR processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with company leadership.
- Experience in a startup environment or interest in building a growing business is a plus.
- Familiarity with billing software and systems.
- Strong communication and client management skills.
