Position Overview:

Are you experienced in logistics and passionate about building strong relationships with shipping and freight companies? As the Project & Relations Representative, you will play a key role in managing relationships with third-party logistics and freight companies, ensuring seamless operations and efficient project management. You’ll oversee the onboarding of shipping partners, manage project communications, and act as the bridge between our logistics department and external shipping companies. If you have a deep understanding of the logistics and shipping industry and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you!

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and freight management, exceptional relationship-building abilities, and be highly organized in managing multiple shipping and logistics projects simultaneously. You should be a team player who can professionally represent the company to external shipping partners while ensuring smooth, efficient communication and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Third-Party Logistics Relationship Management:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with third-party shipping and freight companies, acting as the main point of contact.
Regularly communicate with logistics and freight partners to address concerns, align strategies, and enhance collaboration.
Collaborate with internal teams (warehouse, operations, procurement) to align logistics strategies and goals with shipping partners.
Identify opportunities for improving efficiency and effectiveness in partnerships with shipping and logistics providers.
Onboarding Process Management:

Oversee the onboarding of third-party logistics companies, ensuring a smooth integration into operations.
Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary documentation, contracts, and legal agreements for onboarding shipping partners.
Provide guidance and support to shipping companies during the onboarding process and conduct regular check-ins to ensure smooth transitions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and continuous improvements in the logistics onboarding process.
Research and outreach to potential logistics and shipping companies for new partnerships.
Project Communication & Management:

Act as the liaison between the Logistics department and external shipping partners, ensuring effective communication and alignment on projects and shipments.
Provide timely updates on project and shipping progress, milestones, and key deliverables to all relevant parties.
Ensure all parties are aligned and updated on logistics and shipping operations, projects, and key initiatives.
Requirements:

Strong logistics and freight management experience, including working directly with shipping companies.
Deep understanding of shipping processes, freight operations, and logistics best practices.
Ability to foster a collaborative and productive environment within the logistics team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing department and shipping needs.
Professionalism in representing the company to external logistics and freight partners.
