Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Private Label Brand Manager to join our team on-site. This role is pivotal in developing, launching, and managing private label products, particularly on Amazon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private label product development, brand management, and Amazon account operations, with the ability to build and grow a brand from the ground up.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 (with flexibility)
  • Commission: Based on KPI, with an unlimited cap

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Brand Development: Lead the end-to-end development of private label products, from concept to launch, ensuring that each product aligns with the brand vision and meets quality standards.
  2. Brand Strategy: Develop and execute a compelling brand strategy, focusing on private label products on Amazon, to drive brand growth and customer loyalty.
  3. Amazon Account Management: Oversee all aspects of Amazon account operations, including setting up accounts, optimizing product listings, managing PPC campaigns, and ensuring compliance with Amazon’s policies.
  4. Product Research & Sourcing: Conduct thorough market research to identify high-potential products. Build strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms to source high-quality products.
  5. Listing Optimization: Optimize product listings using advanced keyword research, compelling copy, and high-quality images to increase product visibility and drive sales.
  6. PPC & Performance Management: Monitor and analyze PPC performance and account health, implementing strategies to maximize visibility, sales, and profitability.
  7. Customer Engagement: Manage customer reviews, ensure excellent customer service, and use customer feedback to continuously improve products.
  8. Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with internal and external teams to bring products to market, ensuring alignment and timely execution across all project milestones.
  9. Financial Management: Manage P&L for private label products, driving profitability through strategic pricing, cost control, and revenue optimization.
  10. Market & Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with e-commerce trends, Amazon policies, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge and inform brand strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience managing a brand, with a strong focus on private label product development and Amazon account management. Wholesale experience is not applicable.
  • Amazon Expertise: Proven track record in managing Amazon accounts, including product launches, listing optimization, PPC management, and policy compliance.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct in-depth data analysis on products and market trends to drive decision-making and optimize brand performance.
  • Leadership: Capable of independently building and managing a brand, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of P&L management, with the ability to drive profitability and manage costs effectively.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly forecasting reports and provide regular updates to the Director of Operations and Lead Brand Manager.
  • Continuously analyze competitor products and market trends to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the overall success of the private label brand portfolio.
