We are a leading packaging company specializing in manufacturing and printing high-quality products.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to oversee our plant operations, ensuring optimal machinery performance, employee management, and quality control.

The Plant Manager will be responsible for the overall management of plant operations, including machinery, employees, quality systems, maintenance, and certifications. This hands-on role requires a deep understanding of machinery and mechanical processes. The Plant Manager will start in our Brooklyn facility and eventually move operations to Newark, NJ.

*Key Responsibilities:*

– *Machinery Management:* Oversee the operation and maintenance of all plant machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

– *Employee Supervision:* Manage and lead a team of approximately 300 employees, fostering a productive and safe work environment.

– *Quality Control:* Implement and maintain quality systems to ensure products meet the highest standards.

– *Maintenance Oversight:* Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs to ensure machinery and equipment are in excellent condition.

– *Process Understanding:* Gain a deep understanding of all plant processes and workflows, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

– *Mechanical Expertise:* Stay on top of mechanical issues, providing hands-on solutions and guidance to the maintenance team.

*Qualifications:*

– Proven experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar managerial role within a manufacturing environment.

– Strong understanding of machinery, mechanical processes, and maintenance.

– Experience managing large teams (300+ employees).

– In-depth knowledge of quality systems and certifications.

– Hands-on approach with the ability to provide mechanical solutions and guidance.

– Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

– Ability to oversee and manage a significant plant relocation.

– Open-minded and adaptable, with a willingness to embrace new ideas and methods.
