The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive financial strategy and operational efficiency.

*Key Responsibilities:*

– Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.

– Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.

– Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.

– Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.

– Research technical accounting issues for compliance.

– Support month-end and year-end close processes.

– Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

– Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

– Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

– Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.

– Provide leadership and support to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

*Qualifications:*

– Proven experience as a Controller or similar role, preferably in a reseller or distribution environment.

– Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

– Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.

– Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.

– Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop a finance team.

– Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
