Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Specialist with experience in OMH HCBS (Office of Mental Health Home and Community-Based Services). This role is critical in ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining high standards, and streamlining operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance for OMH HCBS programs, ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance policies, regulations, and best practices.
• Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required.
• Collaborate with leadership to address compliance-related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Stay updated on evolving regulations and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.

Must-Haves

• Proven experience in OMH HCBS compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid regulations and behavioral health compliance requirements.
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with HCBS and behavioral health service regulations.
• Experience in compliance for Article 31, 32, or 28 programs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
