Breaking: Iran Attacks Eretz Yisroel with Hundreds of Drones and Missles, Most Shot Down

Yerushalayim — In the past few hours, the Iranians directly fired hundreds of drones and missiles at Millions of Yidden in Eretz Yisroel.

According to reports, at 1:43 a.m. local time, sirens began to wail in the central Negev region, shortly followed by other regions across the country, including Yerushalayim and Dead Sea areas, Golan Heights, Gush Etzion, Chevron, and Shomron.

The IDF Aerial Defense Array successfully intercepted the majority of the launches using the Arrow Aerial Defense System, together with Israel’s allies, the US and the UK, before the launches crossed into Israel. A small number of hits were identified, including at an IDF base in southern Israel, where minor damage, Baruch Hashem.

Many dozens of hostile aircraft, as well as dozens of cruise missiles, were identified approaching Israeli territory from Iran and intercepted over the past few hours. Dozens of Israeli Air Force fighter jets are currently operating to intercept all aerial threats approaching Israeli territory.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu convened a war cabinet meeting to plan retaliation measures against Iran.

Although there was a bit of damage, B’Chasdei Hashem, no casualties were reported in Eretz Yisroel.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a televised broadcast:

“Citizens of Israel, In recent years, and especially in recent weeks, Israel has been preparing for a direct attack by Iran. Our defensive systems are deployed; we are ready for any scenario, both defensively and offensively. The State of Israel is strong. The IDF is strong. The public is strong.

“We appreciate the US standing alongside Israel, as well as the support of Britain, France and many other countries.

“We have determined a clear principle: Whoever harms us, we will harm them. We will defend ourselves against any threat and will do so level-headedly and with determination.
Citizens of Israel, I know that you also are also level-headed. I call on you to follow the directives of IDF Home Front Command.

“Together we will stand and Be’ezrat Hashem – together we will overcome all of our enemies.”

IDF Spokesperson, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, said in a televised briefing:

“Iran has launched unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from its territory toward the State of Israel. We are monitoring these aerial threats – this is a threat that takes several hours to reach Israeli territory. The IDF and the Israeli Air Force are implementing the plan we prepared in advance. As part of the preparations, GPS services will not be available in certain areas – the disruption is deliberate and according to plan. If we detect additional threats with a shorter arrival time, we will update you immediately.

“Please remain aware and act according to the guidelines of the Home Front Command. We are familiar with these threats and have dealt with them in the past. If a siren is activated in your area, you must enter the shelter and stay there for no less than 10 minutes. We will update you if you need to stay in the shelter for a longer period. I urge you to avoid spreading rumors and unverified reports. Stay informed through official IDF Spokesperson announcements and official Home Front Command guidelines only, and I will update here regarding any changes.

“Continue to act responsibly and calmly, as you have done so far, and be sure to follow the guidelines. The IDF is prepared and ready across all its defensive and offensive systems; we have prepared for a variety of scenarios in advance. We are operating in close cooperation with the U.S and our partners in the region to counter the launches and intercept them. We have several layers of protection from the Israeli Air Force and Navy as well as additional layers of protection from the U.S. military. We have an excellent Aerial Defense Array which is fully operational, but remember – the defense is not hermetic. Therefore, it is crucial to adhere to the guidelines and follow the orders of the Home Front Command – they save lives.

“The IDF will do whatever it takes to protect the citizens of the State of Israel.”

National Security Council Spokesperson Adrienne Watson, condemned the attacks, saying, “Iran has begun an airborne attack against Israel. President Biden is being regularly updated on the situation by his national security team and will meet with them this afternoon at the White House. His team is in constant communication with Israeli officials as well as other partners and allies. This attack is likely to unfold over a number of hours. President Biden has been clear: our support for Israel’s security is ironclad. The United States will stand with the people of Israel and support their defense against these threats from Iran.”
