BREAKING: IDF Rescues Four Israeli Hostages Alive In Gaza

On Shabbos morning, IDF and Israeli Police carried out a daring and remarkable rescue operation—freeing four hostages held by Hamas terrorists from two separate locations in the heart of Nuseirat “refugee camp,” which has been a Hamas hotspot.

In the special operation, IDF forces, Shin Bet and Israeli Police (known as the ‘Yamam,’ National Counter-Terrorism Unit), rescued four hostages: Noa Argamani (25), Almog Meir Jan (21), Andrey Kozlov (27), and Shlomi Ziv (40), who were brutally abducted from the Nova Music Festival into the Gaza Strip on Simchas Torah. 

The IDF stated that, B’Chasdei Hashem, the hostages, were in good medical condition and had been transferred to the ‘Sheba’ Tel-HaShomer Medical Center for further medical examinations.

Unfortunately, Israel Police ‘Yamam’ Squad Commander, Chief Inspector Arnon Zamora, HY”D, was killed in action during the operation. Arnon was part of the force that broke into the apartment where the hostages were being held, was severely injured during a battle, and later died in the hospital.

On October 7th, he led the battle at the Yad Mordechai Junction, eliminating dozens of terrorists and preventing the terrorists from infiltrating northwards. He then went on to fight in the battle at Kibbutz Nahal Oz and Kibbutz Be’eri. “Arnon is an Israeli hero who loved and protected his country. He led the force that rescued the four hostages from the central Gaza Strip and returned them to Israel. The IDF salutes his memory,” the IDF stated.

“We’re committed to getting the release of all the hostages, and we expect Hamas to release them all — but if they don’t, we’ll do whatever it takes to get them all back home.” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “Hamas is committing war crimes every day, including the holding of these hostages.” 

“Our soldiers are performing in the most valiant and moral way to end this war with a victory against these killers and against these kidnappers, and we shall prevail.” He added.

“Today, Israeli security forces conducted a successful operation to rescue four hostages from the grips of Hamas in Gaza. All four were taken from the Nova Music Festival on October 7.” U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said. “Now they are safe and reunited with their families. We commend the work of the Israeli security services that conducted this daring operation. They all must be released — now.”
