But shortly after the zman on Motzei Shabbos, the Chavivim headquarters received a very different style call for assistance.
A yingerman, that resides in the growing and expanding chasidish kehila of Khal Ahavas Hashem, in Wimauma, Florida, a suburb of Tampa, phoned Chavivim that there is an alligator on his front lawn.
Florida Chavivim units, many which live in that community, responded and secured the block, making sure nobody got to close. The Animal control unit of the local police department arrived shortly after with specialized equipment and successfully managed to push the alligator back into a nearby lake.
