The Director of Compliance for HCBS will oversee all compliance functions related to the 1915-C Waiver, ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations. This role is responsible for maintaining compliance, leading audits, and updating policies and procedures to align with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in healthcare compliance, and a deep understanding of HCBS regulations and audits. This is a full-time, in-office leadership role, managing a team of three compliance professionals and serving as the primary point of contact for all compliance-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Policy & Procedure (P&P) Management
  • Ensure all HCBS 1915-C Waiver policies are documented, implemented, and updated
  • Monitor and address non-compliant policies and procedures to align with regulations
• Compliance Monitoring & Audits
  • Lead internal audits to ensure full regulatory compliance
  • Develop and maintain a tracking system to monitor compliance performance
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective action plans
• Department Collaboration & Communication
  • Promote a culture of compliance across all departments
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance-related questions and guidance
  • Ensure effective collaboration with internal teams to maintain regulatory adherence
• Meetings & Reporting
  • Facilitate regular compliance meetings to discuss updates, issues, and improvements
  • Oversee the implementation of new policies and procedures within compliance systems
• Systemized Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Integrate compliance tracking into organizational software for efficiency
  • Conduct monthly sample testing to verify compliance and quality standards

Must-Have Qualifications

• Experience in HCBS or healthcare compliance
• Leadership skills, with the ability to manage audits and regulatory requirements
• Strong knowledge of HCBS regulations and experience handling compliance matters
• Proven ability to implement and oversee compliance policies and procedures
