Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within the nursing home industry and will be responsible for preparing accurate financial statements and assisting with the month-end close process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements for nursing home facilities.
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist in the month-end close process, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Analyze financial data to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting efforts as needed.
• Prepare schedules for audits and collaborate with auditors during the audit process.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant, specifically within the nursing home or healthcare industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and month-end close procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
