About the Company: We are a rapidly growing healthcare company, operating in 22 states. As part of our growth strategy, we are establishing a Family Office, with the goal of acquiring new businesses. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow with the company as we expand and diversify. We are looking for a long-term partner who will eventually take leadership of the finances across multiple businesses.

Position Overview: The Controller will be a key figure in the company’s financial leadership as we scale our operations and acquire additional companies. This role offers substantial long-term growth opportunities, with responsibilities that will expand as the Family Office grows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the company’s financial operations, reporting directly to ownership and working closely with external attorneys and accountants.
  • Lead and manage a small team.
  • Collaborate with the data analytics team to leverage business intelligence and optimize decision-making.
  • Develop and implement financial controls and strategies for current and future acquisitions.
  • Build a scalable finance function to support company growth across multiple locations.
  • Be responsible for month-end and year-end closings, financial reporting, and budgeting.
  • Lead the recruiting efforts for key finance and accounting positions.
  • Transition leadership of financial operations to newly acquired businesses.

Required Qualifications:

  • CPA certification.
  • In-depth experience with QuickBooks.
  • Proven track record of working with data analytics teams.
  • Experience in healthcare finance is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently, with a go-getter attitude, and willingness to put in the hours required to build for the future.
