Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Graphic Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have an excellent eye for design, a deep understanding of branding, and the ability to lead other designers to ensure all projects reach the finish line. This role focuses on the creative side of design, providing critiques and approvals, rather than project management.

Proven experience leading a team as a Lead Graphic Designer or similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Leadership:

  • Lead and inspire a team of graphic designers, providing constructive feedback and guidance to ensure high-quality design work.
  • Conduct final critiques of design projects, ensuring they meet branding guidelines and are ready for completion.
  • Push creative boundaries to produce innovative and visually appealing designs.

Design Excellence:

  • Maintain an excellent eye for design, ensuring all projects are visually compelling and align with the company’s branding.
  • Provide expert critique and approvals on design projects to ensure they meet high standards of quality and creativity.

Branding and Design:

  • Understand and uphold the company’s branding guidelines, ensuring consistency across all design projects.
  • Develop and implement design strategies that enhance the company’s brand identity and market presence.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading a team as a Lead Graphic Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design expertise.
  • Excellent eye for design, with a deep understanding of branding and visual aesthetics.
  • Previous experience overseeing a team of graphic designers, with the ability to lead and mentor creative talent.
  • Strong ability to critique and approve design projects, ensuring they meet high standards and are completed on time.
  • Passion for design and a proactive approach to pushing creative projects to the finish line.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and constructive feedback.
  • Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in various design disciplines, including digital, print, and branding.
  • Ability to stay updated with the latest design trends and incorporate them into projects.
