Watch Live: The Republican National Convention — Day One

Watch the Republican National Convention live as it kicks off in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where former President Donald Trump will be formally nominated as the Republican nominee on the heels of the assassination attempt.

Earlier this afternoon, Trump announced that Ohio Sen. JD Vance would be his running mate on Monday, as the party formally chose Trump as its presidential nominee. 

On the list of potential speakers include Trump’s sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump will both speak as well as Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin; Gov. Kristi Noem of South Dakota; Representative Byron Donalds of Florida; Charlie Kirk, the executive director of Turning Point USA; Senator Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee; Sean O’Brien, the president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters; Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia; Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson of North Carolina;  Representative Wesley Hunt of Texas; Rep. John James of Michigan; Senator Katie Britt of Alabama; Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina; Gov. Glenn Youngkin of Virginia.

Trump’s former presidential rivals, including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, are all expected to speak.
