Yerushalayim — Hezbollah terrorists launched another barrage of rockets at northern Eretz Yisroel, causing red alerts across the region.
Some of these communities had not heard red alert sirens, since the Israel-Hamas broke out.
A 28-year-old Israeli man was seriously wounded on Kfar Zeitim from shrapnel during the rocket barrage.
Magen David Adom paramedic David Pechima and senior EMT Aviad Omar said, “The patient was fully conscious but had sustained shrapnel wounds to his body. We administered medical treatment and transported him to the hospital.”
The IDF said approximately 20 projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon toward the area of the Lower Galilee, some of which were intercepted by the IDF Aerial Defense Array.
In addition, following the sirens that sounded in the area of Ramot Naftali in northern Israel at 5:34 regarding rocket and missile launches, the IDF Aerial Defense Array successfully intercepted a suspicious aerial target.
later in the day, the IDF successfully intercepted a suspicious aerial target that crossed from Lebanon.
The barrage comes after the IDF eliminated a Hezbollah senior terrorist who “led many of the unit’s activities and took part in the planning and carrying out of numerous terror attacks against Israel…His elimination significantly harms the capabilities of Hezbollah’s Aerial Defense Unit.”
