Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Copywriter with a deep understanding of SEO principles, paid advertising strategies, and a knack for emotionally compelling writing. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in copywriting, focusing on creating engaging content for landing pages, blogs, Amazon product pages, product listings, and various marketing campaigns. This remote role requires a dedicated workspace, strong attention to detail, creative thinking, AI compatibility, and the ability to craft persuasive copy that resonates with our target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Copywriting:
- Produce high-quality, persuasive copy for various digital channels including landing pages, product descriptions, blogs, email campaigns, social media ads, and website content.
SEO Optimization:
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to optimize copy for search engines, improving organic visibility and driving traffic to our website.
Paid Advertising:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop ad copy for paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram, and other relevant channels.
Content Creation:
- Generate engaging content ideas and contribute to content marketing initiatives, including blog posts, articles, infographics, and video scripts.
Emotional Connection:
- Infuse copy with emotional storytelling and brand voice to create authentic connections with our audience, driving engagement and brand loyalty.
Campaign Involvement:
- Participate in the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns, providing creative input and ensuring consistency in messaging across all touchpoints.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, product development, and sales to align messaging and achieve campaign objectives.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in copywriting, SEO, and digital marketing, and apply learnings to improve performance.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in copywriting, preferably in the direct-to-consumer (DTC) or e-commerce industry.
- Skills: Proven track record of creating compelling copy that drives conversions and engagement.
- SEO: Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience with keyword research tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz).
- Advertising: Proficiency in paid advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Ads.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Creativity: Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for storytelling.
- Multitasking: Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Data-Driven: Experience with A/B testing and data-driven decision-making is a plus.
- Work Environment: Must have a dedicated workspace to ensure productivity and focus during remote working hours.
