Seeking an experienced Product Owner with a strong background in fintech to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of product management, agile methodologies, and the fintech industry. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage the product lifecycle from conception to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.

Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy: Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that the development team always has an adequate number of prepared tasks.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, sales, and development teams, to gather and define product requirements.
• User Stories and Acceptance Criteria: Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development process.
• Sprint Planning: Participate in sprint planning meetings to ensure the development team understands the priorities and deliverables.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the development team and stakeholders, providing updates on product progress and soliciting feedback.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
• Product Launch: Coordinate product launches, including go-to-market strategy, training, and post-launch evaluation.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor product performance and user feedback, using insights to drive continuous improvement and inform future product iterations.

Requirements:

• Product Management Experience: Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product management role, preferably in the fintech industry.
• Agile Methodologies: Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment.
• Technical Acumen: Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Market Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the fintech industry and current market trends.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have:

• Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar certification a plus but not required.
• Technical Background: Previous experience in software development or a technical role.
• Cloud Computing: Familiarity with Google Cloud Computing (GCP) or other cloud platforms.
• Industry Experience: Previous experience in the fintech or banking sector a plus.
