IDF Recovers Bodies of Three Nova Music Festival Hostages in Gaza
The IDF confirmed it rescued the bodies of three hostages, Shani Louk, Amit Buskila and Yitzchak Glerenter, HY”D, who were taken hostage and murdered by Hamas Terrorists at the Nova Music festival in Re'im during the massacre on Simchas Torah.

The IDF confirmed it rescued the bodies of three hostages, Shani Louk HY”D, Amit Buskila HY”D and Yitzchak Glerenter HY”D, who were taken hostage by Hamas Terrorists at the Nova Music festival in Re’im during the massacre on Simchas Torah.
The IDF stated, based on credible information that we’ve gathered, that Louk, Buskila and Glerenter were murdered by Hamas while fleeing the Nova Music Festival and their bodies were abducted to Gaza.
The bodies of the hostages were rescued during a joint IDF and ISA operation, based on precise ISA intelligence obtained during the interrogations of terrorists who were apprehended in the Gaza Strip, as well as intelligence from IDF Intelligence Directorate’s Headquarters for the Hostages and Missing Persons.
Following an identification procedure carried out by medical officials, IDF representatives notified their families. The IDF and ISA sent their heartfelt condolences to the families.
“They were celebrating life at the Nova music festival and they were murdered by Hamas.” IDF Spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said.
“Our hearts go out to their families, at this difficult time,” Hagari added. “We will leave no stone unturned, We will do everything in our power to find our hostages and bring them home. We will not rest until we do.”
“The IDF and ISA continue, even at this time, to deploy all operational and intelligence means and to take operational risks in order to accomplish the supreme national task of bringing back all the hostages.” An IDF Spokesperson said.
The IDF Spokesperson also asked that the called on the public to refrain from spreading unfounded rumors and fake news and to listen to official announcements.
