As previously reported on FrumNews.com, a billboard on Route 9 North in Howell, New Jersey, near Lakewood displays an anti-Semitic message.
The billboard’s anti-Semitic messaging isn’t merely a political stance; the billboard echoes Hamas’s propaganda against Israel. This message not only misleads but also conveniently overlooks the atrocities committed by Hamas, including kidnapping and murders against the civilian population of the Jewish state as well as Hamas terrorists using their own Gazan civilians as human shields.
A new petition was launched to get the billboard taken down. The residents write that, “this billboard in our community promotes misinformation and anti-Semitic propaganda, which can incite hate crimes against our Jewish neighbors. Hate crimes have skyrocketed in New Jersey by over 400% since October 7.”
The petition calls “upon the Honorable Mayor of Howell, Theresa Berger, and the Lamar Advertising Company to promptly remove this billboard. While we respect every citizen’s right to their opinion and free speech, public spaces should never serve as platforms for spreading hatred and dangerous misinformation. By supporting Israel, humanity stands in solidarity against terrorism and sends a clear message that violence and extremism will not be tolerated.”
Sign this petition if you support truthfulness and unity within the Howell, New Jersey community.
