Yerushalayim — On Wednesday evening, Two IDF soldiers who were on guard duty protecting the Yidden of Eretz Yisroel, were tragically murdered after a Arab terrorist rammed his car into them near Shechem in the Shomron, The terror attack occurred at a checkpoint near an Israeli Yishuv and Farm between the Hatmar Shomron Junction and Itamar.
The terrorist managed to escape and flee towards Shechem, according to Israel’s Kan News 11.
United Hatzolah local Volunteers and Magen Dovid Adom (MDA) paramedics treated both critically injured soldiers on the scene before evacuating them to the Rabin Medical Center’s Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikvah, where they were Niftar shorly afterwards.
Israeli police and IDF soldiers arrived at the scene and began investigating the attack, they initiated sever road-blocks near Shechem halting all traffic to searched for the terrorist.
The IDF released the names of the two soldiers who were part of the Kfir Brigade’s Nahshon Battalion, Staff Sgt. Diego Shvisha Harsaj HY”D, 20, from Tel Aviv and Staff Sgt. Eliya Hilel HY”D, 20, from Yishuv Tel Tziyon, in the Binyamin region.
According to Israeli media, the terrorist turned himself into the Palestinian Authority police in Nablus (Shechem), per Kan, they added that the wanted terrorist had yet to be transferred to IDF custody.
